
They say I summon the ocean close,
With my gravity's shrouded thread-
But truth be told, I never meant
to make the waters bled.
Each starnight I stretch my silver hands,
not to dominate, but gently touch.
The waters bear in heart what I lost-
loses control and rises far, far too much.
When stars first kissed the night, I loved a voice on Earth
who sang beneath my glow.
She wept into the ocean's edge,
and whispered, "Never go."
Though stars may fade, but heart recalls-
the ache, the pulse, the hush.
Not all tides call with love's embrace,
But the soft fallen tears I cannot crush.
